|
| Track Listing:
- The Gift - Radio Edit (4.25)
- The Gift - Original Mix (7.20)
- The Gift - Club Mix (8.18)
|
Released in '96 on Deconstruction. Written and produced by J. Wisternoff, E Macoll and Nick Warren, featuring vocals of Joanna Law (sample from 'The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face' by Joanne Law). An Ibiza anthem that was huge during the summer of '96 - a clever track that blends ambient drum and bass with soothing melodies and sublime vocals; subsequently this track is accessible from all quarters and got a lot of radio airplay, which is always unusual for quality dance music. The Club Mix steps the pace up relative to the Original Mix,yet retains all of the elements of the original mix intact. Superb.

|
 |
Track Listing:
- Muthaf**ka - Mix 1

Released 2003 on Distinctive. Not included on their new album Don't Look Now, this is probably their best track this
term. A dancefloor slammer with two mixes that don't differ much and a lot of family unfriendly samples. The Soundscape Mix is just a minimal
instrumental. Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.

Released 2004 on Distinct'ive. This is a very commercial step for Way Out West. The vocals frequently tend to overwhelm and bury
some great instrumental tracks. The briefly-named Everyday, Apollo, Fear, and Killa are salvageable. The bonus mixed CD doesn't have much to mention. Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.
