Talla 2XLC
| CDS: Talla 2XLC - The Eternal Mystery[575995-2]
Released 1996 on Urban. All tracks written, composed and
produced by Talla 2XLC and Vernon B. Mix 4 reproduced by Daniel B. and
Patrick Codenys of Front 242. The Original and Eternal Zeme
mixes are the good ones here, with the latter fused with a touch of industrial. Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.
| 12": Talla vs Taucher - Together '99[TECHNO 010-12 / TECHNO 011-12]
Released 8/99 on Techno Club Recordings (a Division of Music Research GmbH). Written and produced by Torsten Stenzel, Ralph A. Beck, Talla 2XLC and Vernon B. Talla kicks in with a beatline straight from Nightshift, which develops into a heavier, meatier trancer than its predecessor. Likewise, the Phase 3 Mix is a harder edged, darker trancer, although this really fails to inspire when compared to Nightshift. However, on the first 12" Sean Dexter saves the day with a superb well balanced remix. Likewise, on the second 12", its Push (M.I.K.E.) who deliver the goods, shining out over the rather weak Phase 1 and Taucher remix. For more information on Talla click here. Talla 2XLC and DJ Taucher also record with the Trance Allstars.
| CD Single: Talla vs Taucher - Together '99[ADR 6676532]
Released 8/99 on Adrenalin (Sony Music Entertainment GmbH). Written and produced by Torsten Stenzel, Ralph A. Beck, Talla 2XLC and Vernon B. This is the very rare CD single of Together '99 featuring the excellent Sean Dexter remix plus a vocal mix from Talla that never made it onto the Techno Club vinyls.
| 12": Talla 2XLC & Resistance D - Hypnotic[TC002-12]
Released '99 on Techno Club Recordings (a Division of Music Research GmbH). Written and produced by Talla 2XLC, Pascal F.E.O.S., M. Maurice and Vernon B.
| CD Single: Talla 2XLC Calls Moguai - Into Another[6688732]
Released 2000 on Dance Devision. Licensed from Techno Club Recordings. Written and produced by Talla 2XLC, DJ Moguai, Phil Fuldner and Vernon B. I've a lot of respect for both Talla 2XLC and Moguai, who have both recorded some pretty decent tracks in the past. However, for the sake of the reputation of dance music, keep them apart! This single is incredibly bad - its sounds like something out of the '70's.
| CD Single: Talla Meets Tom Wax - NRG[ADR 6655442]
Released 1998 on Adrenalin (Sony Music Entertainment GmbH). Written and produced by Tom Wax, Talla 2XLC and Vernon B. This is a rather bland and dissapointing outing from Mr Wax and Mr 2XLC, complete with a misleading title (this isn't NRG style trance). And what the hell is "Speed Techno"??? One to avoid.
| CD Single: Taucher Battles Talla 2XLC - Nightshift[ADR666936 2]
Released '99 on Adrenalin (Sony Music Germany GmbH). Written and produced by Torsten Stenzel, Ralph A. Beck, Talla 2XLC and Vernon B. Words by Vernon B and Matthew Tasa. Vocals by Matthew and Kate. The DJ Taucher Club Mix is an excellent slice of trance except for the really awful female spoken vocal that keeps popping in during the breakdowns. However, the XLC's Club Mix cures this problem by ditching the female vocal, leaving just pure wonderful trance. XLC's Trance mix strips the track down, leaving slightly harder beats and a darker theme. XLC's Nightflight is a superb dub mix, with sweeping melodies and powerful pumping beats. This single is superb and a must - unfortunately its currently only available in Germany.
| 12": Airfire feat. Talla 2XLC - No Signs of Life[TECHNO016-12]
Released 2000 on Techno Club Records (Germany). Written and produced by Andreas Schmidt, Marcus Kreck and Talla 2XLC. This one sided vinyl is a superb trance anthem from Talla 2XLC and co - not to be missed.
