12": Drawn to the Woman EP | |||
The original mix is a very slow ambient drum and bass/dubby track with female spoken vocals dominating the track. It's a rather haunting track, with rather annoying samples cropping up through out its entire length. Kaleidoscope and Bluestone fail to offer anything new to the track either and hence this 12" is rather quickly finding its way to back of my record collection. This may appeal to Drum and Bass fans more than it does to me.
Other Info:
Drawn to the woman appears on the stunning debut album "Kin", which came out on Universal Egg and was licensed to Waveform in the U.S., where it stayed in the American college radio dance charts for thirteen weeks. Sounds from the Ground material can be found on various compilations, including Planet Dub from Planet Dog Records and Vibes Vol1, put together by Big Chill.
