12": Scott Bond vs Solar Stone - 3rd Earth[7006915]
Released 2004 on ID & T Music. Written by John Tavener, Andy Bury, Rich Mowatt & Scott Bond. Produced by Andy Bury, Rich Mowatt & Scott Bond. This composition samples "The Lamb" composed by John Tavener. Additional remix and production on track 2 by Marco Verkuijlen and Benjamin Kuijten. '3rd Earth' is beyond doubt one of the most notable trance releases of 2004. Combining the talents of two major players in the trance scene, Scott Bond and Solar Stone, '3rd Earth' really stands out because of its sublime use of the ethereal vocals of John Taveners "The Lamb", as performed by the Westminster Abbey Choir. Head for the lengthy Original Mix, which finely balances the driving trance beats and uplifting melody with the choral backing of "The Lamb". Essential.

12": Solar Stone + Scott Bond - Naked Angel[12ENGLAND02 / 12ENGLAND02-2]
Released 2004 on Made In England. Written & produced by Andy Bury, Rich Mowatt & Scott Bond. The first official release on Solar Stone & Scott Bond's in-house label, Made in England, is this double vinyl release of 'Naked Angel'. A generous pack of remixes are included, along with the Agnelli & Nelson remix of '3rd Earth', although it has to be said that 'Naked Angel' falls into the long shadow of the original version of '3rd Earth'. That said, its a decent enough trancer: solid beats, uplifting melody and angelic backing chant - it presses all the buttons and ticks all the boxes. But whilst '3rd Earth' is in my record box I doubt i'll be playing this one.
