Sash!
Appearing out of nowhere during 1997, Sash! became one of the best-selling Euro-house artists of the year, with three consecutive instrumental hits: "Encore Une Fois," "Ecuador" and "Stay." Based in Cologne, he worked as an electrical engineer before growing into the DJ business, first as a part-time gig. In 1995, he began producing as Sash! with the help of Thomas Lüdke and Ralf Kappmeier. The trio's "It's My Life" became a dancefloor hit later that year, triggering success for the follow-up, "Encore Une Fois." Early in 1997, it hit the Top Ten in dozens of countries. Both "Ecuador" and "Stay" were similarly successful, prompting PolyGram to sign Sash! for the debut album It's My Life. The single "La Primavera" also became popular on the continent during 1998, from his second album Life Goes On. Sash! also remixed 2 Unlimited, Jean-Michel Jarre and Dr. Alban, returning in 2000 with Trilennium. John Bush, All Music Guide

12"/CD Single: Adelante[TMULTY60]
Released 2/00 on Multiply Records. Written by Thomas Alison, Ralf Kappmeier & Sascha Lappessen. Produced by Sash! & Tokapi. From the forthcoming album 'Trillennium'. Don't be put off by Sash's past history of producing more cheese than your average dairy, since 'Adelante' is an excellent uplifting track that steers well clear of any dairy produce. Ruff Driverz and Dumonde both toughen the track up, but its the original mix that comes up tops here. The CD single annoying only features a shorter radio edit in place of the original 12" mix.

12"/CD Single: With My Own Eyes[CDMULTY67]
Released 2000 on Multiply Records. Written by Thomas Alison, Ralf Kappmeier & Sascha Lappessen. Vocals by Inka. Produced by Sash! & Tokapi. From the album 'Trillennium'. I was hoping that Tandu & McLoud would live up to the duo's reputation and deliver an almighty trance remix, but unfortunately this is a typical cheese pop-dance production aimed at the commercial dance floor.
