Radar

Radar are the French (but London based) duo Francis Peyrat and Christophe Goze. Francis is well known for his Arabica series on Bar De Lune, and for compiling the Arabesque album, whilst Christophe Goze has released a solo down tempo jazzy/house album, 'Show me the Way', also on the Bar De Lune label. Together they are Radar, a spectacular blend of North African beats and Middle Eastern soundscapes.

Released 11/02 on Bar De Lune. Written and produced by Chrisophe Goze & Francis Peyrat. I first heard 'Caravane' and 'Sirocco' on MoMo's Arabesque compilation, where they stood out as highlights amongst a multitude of big names. A year on from then and Radar have released their debut album, 'Nothing is Real', a fusion of down-tempo electronica with the heart and soul of Arabia. Astounding.
