Pete Ardron

Pete Ardron formed the positively vibrant global dance band Glow & The Department of Luminosity back in 1993 with Portuguese singer Maria João Branco. Following their third album 'Enfeitiçada' Pete took some time out to explore other avenues, including becoming a regular DJ in the Chill Bar at Planet Angel and producing a few rather groovy new tunes inspired by his DJing experiences there, the result of which is his eight album, 'Inside the Voice Inside'.

This is a collection of very ambient spacey tracks written for the Whirl-Y-Gig parachute (if you've no idea what this means then click here) during the mid-90's, which were then later re-mastered by Pete in 2002 and made available for the first time on CD. This is an astounding CD of predominantly down-tempo chilled, melodic electronica and funky grooves, apparently inspired by his DJing experiences at Planet Angel. Its an eclectic mixture of vibes that is undoubtedly the best material produced by Pete as a solo artist which I can heartedly recommend.
