Released '98 on ECM Records (Germany) GmbH. Song of Sand is taken from the album 'Khmer' by Nils Petter Molvær [ECM 1560 537798-2]. Most of this EP is bordering on experimental downbeat jazz. However, the Herbaliser remix of 'Platonic Years' is something very special; again its downbeat jazz, but the combination of soothing jazzy breaks with gentle percussion in this case is sheer genius. A wonderful end-of-night comedown track.

'Dead Ineed' is a dark and abstract track, but 'Ligotage' is a superb piece of sublime drum and bass, with gentle beats and soothing brass - an essential chillout tune.
