Mr Oxx & Shield

Oxyd Records was set up in Brescia in early 1999 by Steph Mazzacani, alias Mr Oxx, on his return from London, where he lived and worked as a session musician for ten years. He founded the label with Marco Del Barba, whose other labels include Media Records - Remake (today Evento Music). After only a few months they achieved notoriety and recognition in the industry. Mr Oxx work's concentrated in remixing the many jewels of the catalogue, "specialising on quality, not quantity" says Steph, since we respect imported production by keeping their original essence whilst adding our own in-house creativity and production by giving an alternative remix.

DJ Shield is a young talented producer who plays in many venues in the North of Italy, especially in his home town, Brescia. His style is a refined mix that brings either the Italian house taste and the English one together, not forgetting the best productions from France and, of course, from the States. His passion is also that of producing quality remixes of some the best pieces available in the Oxyd Record Catalog.
