Originally released in '92 on Soundproof Recordings and re-released in 1997 on same label. A range of mixes from Laurence Nelson William Borez and Simon Lovechild, varying from trance to techno. But it's still the original '92 mix that comes up trumps here.

The '92 release of Cry Freedom on Union City Recordings features two excellent mixes, where the Malawi Mix is the Original '92 Mix on the other (re-)releases. The Soweto mix is subtly different, although it sticks to the tribal theme.

Further mixes by Phil Nicholas and Mike Bigwood, released in '96 on Soundproof Recordings. The Full Length Master Mix is a great remix, that is more trance/prog house than tribal, and works well on the dancefloor. The Ambient Mix is, as the title suggests, ambient, whilst the Deep Beats Mix is five minutes of pure tribal drums. Worth getting for the Full Length Master Mix alone.
