CDS: Infernal - Sorti De L'Enfer[8847952]
Released 1997 on EMI. Written and produced by Infernal. Somewhat dated bagpipe-fueled trancer is good for a few plays before it gets repetetive. The Hacky Sack Mix is the most central of the nearly-identical bunch. Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.

CDS: Infernal - Voodoo Cowboy[PCDS 53497]
Released 1999 on Playland Records. Written and produced by Infernal. Upbeat, harmonica-powered cheese-a-thon reminiscent of Bravado's "Harmonica Man". The all-over-the-map Aliens mix and the Club Mix lead the pack here.
Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.

CD: Infernal - Muzaik[EMI5365722]
Released 2001 on Flex Records. Infernal, a Danish duo, have an unusual
sound, combining pop music with traditional Turkish drums/percussion. Most of the tracks on
this album are vocal based, and whilst it may fare well in the Danish music scene, I doubt
it would make many ripples in the UK pop charts, sounding very Euro Vision Song Contest.
However, tagged on the end of this album is one of the most beautiful down-tempo tracks
that i've ever heard. 'Mizkett' is an astounding ambient global gem, with a powerful
orchestral melody backed by a hypnotic darabuk drum and gorgeous Turkish strings. Pure
ecstasy.

CDS: Infernal - Muzaik[EMI8795762]
Released 2001 on Flex Records. Written and produced by Infernal. Additional remix and production on track 4 by DJ Tandu. This is an essential single featuring the album title track 'Muzaik' in various subtle mixes. I'm unsure of how the extended mix is extended given that its two minutes shorter than the album version. However, both versions are very similar in style and differ only in structure, and both suffer from the extremely dated sounding synths. The best of the bunch and the main reason to purchase this single is the fantastic Tandu remix (DJ Tandu is one half of German trance act Ayla). Here the clattery Turkish darabuk drums and the slightly unusual chants (provided by Oriental Mood) from the original album version are combined with a pounding bass line and a powerful driving melody - essential.
