Compilation: Future World Funk Vol.3[OCHOCD011] | |||
Released 10/01 on Ocho, a division of Union Square Music. Compiled by DJ Russ Jones and DJ Cliffy. After the slightly disappointing Volume 2 in this Future World Funk series, those nice boys down at Future World Funk have compiled a rather tasty third instalment. It features a handful of well known tracks, including the recent 'Signs' by Badmarsh & Shri, and the classic (and very rare) Coldcut remix of Nitin Sawhney's 'Homelands'. But amongst those that you may already know, or at least have heard of, is a rich selection of global beats from a wealth of lesser known artists.
