12": Freebase - Broken[BTI045]
Released 1998 on Bonzai Trance Progressive. Written and produced by Dirk Dierickx and Pascal Quatretemps. The Fire & Ice Remix of 'Broken' is a superb uplifting trancer from Dirk Dierickx, the same guy behind Push (Universal Nation).

12": Freebase - Touch Me, Feel Me[XTC050]
Released 1999 on XTC, a division of Lightning Records (Belgium). Track 1 written and produced by L-Vee, Jurgen Leyers & Pascal Quatretemps. Track 2 written and produced by L-Vee & Jurgen Leyers. With a title of 'Touch Me, Feel Me' I was expecting some dreadful commercial vocals, but nothing could be further from the truth (neither track feature vocals). Both cuts are quality uplifting trancers, with 'Land of Illusions' standing out as the better of the two - big anthem! Essential.

12": Freebase - Shiva[XTC084]
Released 12/02 on XTC, a division of Lightning Records (Belgium). Written and produced by Jurgen Leyers & Pascal Quatretemps. This is the first release by Freebase in quite sometime, with the 'Touch Me Feel Me' vinyl being their last release back in 1999. 'Shiva' is instantly recognisable as Freebase, with the same familiar deep bassline as used in 'Broken'. Its another uplifting trancer, although the mood is somewhat serious, with the midtrack breakdown featuring a spoken sample of what could be the narration from War of the Worlds by HG Wells. 'After the Rain' is a lighter track in general, making an average trancer. All in all this latest release from Freebase doesn't quite live up to the high standards of their previous releases, although its worth checking out.

CD Single: Freebase - Pure Pleasure[ARC311 / 8800603]
Released 1998 on CNR Music (a division of the Arcade Music Group). Written and produced by Misar & Uwe Wagenknecht. Words by M.P. Dukas. Additional remix and production on track 3 by Martin "YOMC" Roth & Michael "Mitch" Phadt, and on track 4 by Talla 2XLC & Vernon B.
Note that this isn't the same Freebase that features on the Bonzai Records / XTC labels. However, this is an excellent, pounding, dark edged trancer with very deep spoken male vocal samples (similar to those found in 'Experience' by Mike Koglin). All three main mixes are equally good.
