12": Flutlicht - Icarus[NEG02]
Released 2/02 on Negativa. Written and produced by DJ Natron (Daniel Heinzer) and Reverb. It's Big Al's Club Reworking that does the business here. A driving, pulsing trancer with a great top line, featuring spoken references to the biblical character 'Icarus'. It's marred for me personally by the mid-track breakdown vocal (although with a cleaver bit of editing we've taken this out), but if you don't mind girly commercial vocals then i'm sure this will be the icing on the cake for you. The JX4 Remix pales against the anthemic Big Al's Club Reworking, whilst the S.H.O.K.K Mix is suitably hard, although god only knows why they've used the effect that mimics a record deck stopping in the middle of the track??

CDS: Flutlicht - Icarus[FRONT 220-3]
Released 2/02 on Front / Digidance. Written and produced by DJ Natron (Daniel Heinzer) and Reverb. The Original Daedalus Mix is quite good, giving the other mixes a run for their money. See above for additional review. Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.
