12": Multiply Records 2000 Summer Sampler 03[12SAMPLE10P]
Promo release 8/00 on Multiply Records. Skip the first track (commercial ramblings that we've heard a million times) and head straight for Fiorello - Azzurro. This Balaeric tinged little beauty is one of my current faves. Spanish guitars, marching percussion, jazz and a fantastic top line that won't fail to put a smile on your face. Not sure when this is going to get an official release, but keep an eye out for it.
12": Fiorello - Azzurro[8573 85532-0]
Released 2000 on Deep Culture Records/WEA Records Germany. Licensed from Time Srl 2000. Composer and lyrics by P. Conte and V. Pallavicini. Produced by Boris Dlugosch and Michi Lange. Additional remix and production on tracks 3 and 4 by Mricky & Danieli.
Forget everything apart from the BMR's Beatcut - I was hoping that these other remixes would be equally as good as the fabulous BMR mix, but unfortunately they are somewhat awful in comparrison. Oh well.
CD Single: Fiorello - Azzurro[ZYX 9236 8]
Released 1991 on ZYX Music. Licensed from S4 S.r.l 1991. Composer and lyrics by P. Conte and V. Pallavicini. Produced by Claudio Cecchetto. Additional remix and production on tracks 1,2 & 3 by S. Simmich. These are the original versions of Azzurro - slightly unusual and very tounge in cheek to say the least.
CD Single: Fiorello - Azzurro[8573 85748-2]
Released 2000 on Deep Culture. Composer and lyrics by P. Conte and V. Pallavicini. Produced by Claudio Cecchetto. A sticker on the jewel case says "PR-Copy" which might mean this is a promo. Inside the case is a small double-sided flyer describing this release from WEA. Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.
