Released 2003 on Terapia / ZYX Music (Germany). Written and composed by Doldinger, Bliedtner, Schröder & de Pietra. Additional remix and production on track 1 by Manuel Schleis & Markus Kaes and on track 2 by Oliver Hintz, Thomas Nöhre & Tommy Gant. Tatort is the German equivalence of Starsky & Hutch, a police drama whose theme music was produced by Klaus Doldinger. This 2003 homage to the show sees two cracking dance remixes plus the original 70's style theme tune. The Villa & Vernett Lounge Mix opts for a funky house makeover, whilst the DJ Spacecase Meets Observer Remix is a solid, driving trance version. Whilst slightly off the wall, this latter mix often features in my sets.
