Energy 52
Energy 52 are Germanys Paul M (DJ Kid Paul, aka Paul M, aka Paul Schmitz Moormann) and Harald Bluechel (Cosmic Baby). Their anthem, Café Del Mar, is a legend in its own right.
| 12": Energy 52 - Café Del Mar - The Classic Mix Collection[BTP5399]
Released in 1997 on Bonzai Trance. Written and produced by Paul M. These are the original mixes of Café Del Mar - although they sound a little dated in light of the more recent mixes, they are classics in their own right.
| 12": Energy 52 - Café Del Mar[HOOJ51R]
Released 1997 on Hooj Choons. Written and produced by Paul M. Additional remix and production on track 1 by A.Bury, S.Tierney & R.Mowatt and on track 2 by Universal State of Mind.
| CDS: Energy 52 - Café Del Mar '98[HOOJ64CD]
Released 1998 on Hooj Choons as 2x12" and 2xCD single. Written and produced by Paul M. This is one tune that most certainly needs no introduction. The Original Three 'N One Mix is a classic track that has yet to be superseded; slow to start but once into the unmistakable mid-track breakdown/build-up this track flies.

| 12": Energy 52 - Café Del Mar[LOST019]
Released 9/02 on Lost Language as 2 x 12". Licenced from Superstition Records GmbH. Written and produced by Paul M. Additional remix and production on track 1 by Marco Verkuylen & Benjamin Kuijten and on track 2 by Michael Woods. Its been four years since the last round of remixes of 'Cafe Del Mar', so I guess its about time for another batch. The Café Del Marco V Remix is a much tougher driving version that any previous version, and its only when then melody kicks in during the midtrack breakdown does it become obvious what this track is. Its good in its own right, but I really don't envy anybody trying to remix one of the all time best trance anthems. On the flipside Michael Woods delivers a sublime, beatless and spacey ambient version, which is very similar in style to his remix of Art of Trance's Madagascar. At last, a reason for re-releasing this track!
| 12": Energy 52 - Café Del Mar[LOST019R]
Released 9/02 on Lost Language as 2 x 12". Licenced from Superstition Records GmbH. Written and produced by Paul M. Additional remix and production on track 1 by Sharam Jey & Andre Strässer and on track 2 by John 00 Fleming. On the second part of the 2002 remixes Three 'N One polish off their original version, and it really is just a polish on the production side of things, whilst John 00 Fleming delivers a rather predictable remix. Nothing new here.
