Dzihan and Kamien
Vlado Dzihan (pronounced "Gee-hahn") and Mario Kamien (pronounced "Kammy-en") are not your typical electronica / lounge outfit. Their first production was "Der Bauch" under the moniker of MC Sultan in 1996, a Middle-Eastern percussion hit that was later licenced to the Stoned Asia and Arabesque compilations. As Dzihan and Kamien they released their debut album 'Freaks and Icons' on their own Couch Records label in 2000, followed by the remix album, 'Refreaked', in 2001. 'Gran Riserva' was released in 2002. Six Degrees Records has also released these albums for the US market.

CD: Dzihan and Kamien - Freaks and Icons[CR21004]
Released 2000 on Couch Records. Written and produced by Dzihan and Kamien. This is an absolute must for the collection - laid back lounge grooves with a hint of jazz and a pinch of Eastern Europe, all of which is mixed with a generous helping of musical irony.

CD: Dzihan and Kamien - Refreaked[CR20102]
Released 2001 on Couch Records. Written and produced by Dzihan and Kamien. Additional remix and production on track 1 by Matthew "J+M" Herbert, on track 2 by UFO, on track 3 by Hefner, on track 4 by Eddy Ramich & Zvonimir Dusper, on track 5 by Fauna Flash, on track 6 by Martin Iveson, on track 7 by Butterkeks, on track 8 by Fox 42, on track 9 by Mum and on track 10 by Menu B featuring Davor On Rhodes. 'Refreaked' is a collection of remixes of tracks from the 'Freaks and Icons' album, as produced by other artists. UFO's Vienna Vista Sexual Dub of 'Homebase' stands out from the crowd as an excellent remix, being slightly more upbeat than the original version.

CD: Dzihan and Kamien - Gran Riserva[CR20152]
Released 10/02 on Couch Records. Written and produced by Dzihan and Kamien. Two years on from 'Freaks and Icons' and 'Gran Riserva' is a more polished and mature album. It dips further into jazzy lounge territory, having a greater vocal content than its predecessor and leaves behind the global tints that made 'Freaks and Icons'.
