12": The Mambo Craze[MOLE012-6]
Released 11/00 on Mole UK. Written by Pit Baumgartner and Pat Appleton. Produced by Pit Baumgartner. Additional remix and production by 20:20 Vision. Taken from the album 'Godsdog'. As the title and cover suggests this one is one of those gems that fails to be pigeon holed into any specific music catagory. The track that stand out here is the Extended Mix, which works well at the start of a warm up set, or equally well in the chill out room - bang it on and watch the silly dances come out! Featuring wonderful vocals and a jazz quartet full of Mambo vibes - this is an absolute must for the record box and a firm favourite of mine. Tribal Vocoder is also worth checking out, whilst the 20:20 mixes are a little on the abstract side.

CD: Godsdog (Limited Edition)[MOLECD020L-2]
Released 2002 on Mole Listening Pearls. Written by Pit Baumgartner and Pat Appleton. Produced by Pit Baumgartner. Additional remix and production on disc 2 : track 6 by Drum Attic and Lee Combs. The original version of this album, released back in January 2000 on Moles Listening Pearls [MOLECD020] was, and still is, an excellent album of jazzy and mostly vocal based lounge music. This limited edition release of the 'Godsdog' album features a second CD of eight additional tracks and remixes, some of which have featured on previous single releases. As i've already said, 'Godsdog' is an excellent album. Whilst this is a lot more vocal based than my normal taste in down-tempo music, I've found that it works wonderfully as background music whilst working, or for at dinner parties, or for general chilling. There is definitly something very cosey about De-Phazz.
