12": DJ Vitamin D feat. Miss Audry - That Latin Track[LOAD91]
Released 8/02 on Loaded Records. Licenced from International House Records. Written and produced by Vitamin D. Vocals by Miss Audry. I do like the summer, especially when it brings forth tunes like these. Latino vocals and a quirky piano melody combine in this cheeky carnival bonanza. The DJ Vitamin D's Vocal Mix adds extra vocals over the original housey version, whilst the C-mos Remix chops the beats up giving it the big beat funky treatment, which happens to be the best of the bunch. Originally 'That Latin Track' was released in October 2000. It was featured on : DJ Vitamin D - A Full Days Supply which had a track listing of: Original Mix (note that the Loaded Records release took off about 2 minutes) plus 2 other tracks: 'Living In the Eighties' and '99'. Then came the double pack remixes on International House Records in 2001 (see below) and finally the Loaded Records release in 2002. I recently got my paws on a DJ promo CD featuring the Hatiras remix (which originally featured on the US double 12" release) and it blows the above mixes out of the water - well worth getting hold of.

Released 2001 on International House Records (USA). Written and produced by Vitamin D. Vocals by Miss Audry. This is the original release of 'That Latin Track'; a double 12" featuring an excellent range of mixes including the Hatiras Remix, which, in my humble opinion, is the best of the bunch.

12": DJ Vitamin D feat. Miss Audry - That Latin Track[ESTEREO044]
Released 6/03 on Estereo Recordings. Written and produced by Vitamin D. Vocals by Miss Audry. Both of these mixes featured on the previous 2001 release on International House Records (Kiko Navarro's Vocal Mix and Kiko Navarro's Habana Mix are the same tune). These mixes are the lighter and more latino of the bunch - well worth persuing if you missed the 2001 release.
