Released 3/04 on Relative Records as 2 x 12". Written by Dale Corderoy. Produced by Corderoy. Additional remix and production on vinyl 1: tracks 1 & 2 by Greg Murray and on vinyl 2: track 1 by Ferry Corsten and on track 2 by Greg Murray. I first acquired 'Sweetest Dreams' back in 2002 on a monthly promo CD that I subscribe to, and instantly realised the huge anthem potential of this track. Subsequently it went down a storm in my DJ sets at Planet Angel and was a firm favourite of mine for many months. That version was the Greg Murray Intrumental. The Greg Murray Vocal Mix is the same track but with the addition of very commercial sounding female vocals - not exactly my cuppa tea but will no doubt work well in commercial club land. On the remix vinyl its Ferry Corsten who steals the show, delivering a beautifully produced, very powerful and uplifting remix. Its got far more punch than the Greg Murray Remix and hammers home the uplifting melody. The Original Ambient Mix is a short, beatless affair, featuring the piano melody and sweeping soundscapes. Essential.
