Released 2001 on Strichcode Records (A division of K-tel Switzerland AG). Compiled by Christian Garrett. This is a double CD featuring predominantly global beats and lounge music on disc 1 and very ambient down-tempo music on disc 2. The better disc is undoubtedly disc 1 which is a rich feast of relatively unknown artists along side the likes of dZihan & Kamien, Deep Dive Corp and Tim Love Lee. As the cover states, this is 100% Ibiza Proof, and what a refreshing change that makes in this age of nonsense chillout CDs that constantly clutter the supermarket shelves these days. Definitely worth investigating.
