12": Cape Town - Skydriver[GM2000-033]
Released 2000 on Green Martian Intergalatic Productions (Belgium). Written and produced by L-Vee and F. Santini. The E.T Mix is a superb trance anthem thats been on my playlist for sometime now. It isn't exactly the fastest tune on the block, with a relatively low bpm, but this makes 'Skydriver' the perfect anthem for early on in a DJ set. Over on the flip side the Urban Jungle Mix is a very different affair; a smooth progressive / breakbeat trancer that you would only suspect of being related to the E.T Mix when the chimes kick in. Two fantastic, yet very different mixes - sheer quality and an absolute must.

12": Cape Town - Cinema[CAM-2003-033]
Released 10/03 on Camouflage. Written and produced by L-Vee. Two quality uplifting trance cuts from Cape Town. The title track fares well on its own, whilst on the b-side 'Phoenix Tears' almost steals the show if it were not for the rather lengthy orchestral breakdown that just goes on forever (3 minutes!). A minor grumble though - top tune otherwise.

12": V-One - Dead Cities[LOST003 / LOST003R]
Released 2000 on Lost Language Recordings as 2x12". Written and produced
by Laurent Veronnez & Marnix B. Additional remix and production on LOST003 track 2 by
M.I.K.E and on LOST003R track 1 by Mike Wells for Force Mass Motion. 'Dead Cities' is one
tune that I somehow completely overlooked upon its original release. It was a couple of years later when I accidentally stumbled upon a Lightning Records vinyl in my collection, titled Extreme Frequencies, featuring the Force Mass Motion Remix of 'Dead Cities' that I realised its full potential. Subsequently I started playing 'Dead Cities' regularly in my sets. I then hunted out this double vinyl release on Lost Language Recordings, although none of these other mixes supersedes the Force Mass Motion Remix. 'Dead Cities' is a powerful hypnotic trancer, with seering 303s, a spiraling topline and subtle underlying vocal chants that are slightly dark and haunting. It's a tune and a half! On the first vinyl the Return of the Native Remix is a little odd, the first half of which is very minimalistic, before switching into deep rolling trance, whilst the extra track, 'Clouds in the Sky', is a quality driving progressive number.
