Blu Peter
Blu Peter's new single has been compared to classic nu-energy anthems Legend B Lost In Love and Renegade Legion's Weeping Waste, 2 mainstays of his Dj set. I bring you love follows Blu Peter's much radio played single featuring vocalist Akira The Pictures In Your Mind which was his most commercial work to date and Magic, the Luxor Remix is included here on the CD single. Magic features the vocal talents of S-J, whose fever charted nationally earlier this year on React. Peter, who's responsible for putting Neath in Wales on the musical map, is a busy working DJ across the UK and can be heard in resident at the Trance rave Escape From Samsara and Freedom, Saturdays at Bagleys Warehouse in London. Peter can also be heard regularly at The Lakota in Bristol and Speed Queen in Leeds. Internationally, Peter can be found in Europe, Africa, Singapore, and is due to make his first visit to Hong Kong and Malaysia. Peter started DJ'ing 5 years ago with a high profile introduction to clubland with residencies at the Garage, the hugely successful Fridays at Heaven and Turnmills legendary Sunday nighter 'ff'. He then turned in 2 rather large Trance singles under the name Elevator including the seminal underground club classic 'Shinny'. Peter then sealed his reputation by compiling and mixing the huge selling compilation albums 'Reactivate Volumes 9-10 which led Peter to be tagged as the creator of the NU-NRG sound. Single: Magic[CD REACT64]
Magic features the vocal talents of S-J, whose fever charted nationally earlier on in '97 on React, and vocalist Akira The Pictures In Your Mind which was his most commercial work to date. The Luxor Remix is also on the recent. I bring you love single. Manual First King Of Goa Remix is the best mix here - stomping stuff.

Single: The Pictures in Your Mind[CD REACT74]
Fast, hard and uplifting driving NRG trance at its best with hands in the air vocals from Akira. The Club Mix is my favourite mix here although the Arabesque mix is a corking harder trance dub taking on an eastern influence as the title suggests. Fab stuff.

Single: The Pictures in Your Mind - Special Assignment Edition[CD REACTX74]
Further mixes provided on this special edition single. The Dub mix isn't that different from the Club mix, obviously without
the vocals. The Blush mix is an even faster mix, again without vocals. Together is much like the Arabesque mix with its clattery type drums and is an excellent bonus track.

Single: I Bring You Luv[CD REACT110]
I bring you Luv is Peter's first single for a year and is a welcome return to his popular hard uplifting Nu-Energy Trance style which has become his DJ trademark sound.

Released 2/2000 on React Music. Written & produced by Peter Harris and Graham McMahon. Taken from the album 'Widescreen & Digital'. The Club mix is a hypnotic looping electo-trancer that in terms of style is a mile from his older nu-nrg style trance. It never really builds or takes off, rather maintaining a laid back pace throughout. Salt Tank acidify the beats giving the track a slightly harder edge, although like the club mix this also fails to take off and plods along at the same pace throughout. Nice if you like music to plod around the dancefloor too.
