Astral Projection

CD: Trust in Trance[TIPCD5]
An amazing '96 debut album from our Israeli friends.
| ||
12": Mahadeva[TRA017]
Released in '96 on Transient Records. Written and produced by Y Haviv, L Perimutter and A Nissim. Keep an eye out for this 12" of Mahadeva - the 1996 Remix is a superb hard edge trancer.

CD: The Astral Files[TRANR607CD]
The boys return ('97) with a storming new album. It's a mixture of old and new material, with the likes of Enlightened Evolution, Kabalah and Utopia, which featured on the first album, being cranked up and having a few extra herbs and spices added to them. Brilliant stuff! Ambience, which closes the album is definitely worth a mention too - I love this track.

slightly different cover. Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.

| ||
12": Dancing Galaxy[TRA037]
Released in '97 on Transient Records. Written and produced by Lior Perimutter and Avi Nissim. Both tracks are taken from the latest album of the same name - nothing new apart from pink vinyl!

CD: Another World[NT 30102]
Released 1999 on Nova Tekk. Standard fare from Astral Projection and a great way to pick up the excellent '99 version of Mahadeva. Thanks to Brian Harris for this information.

12": John 00 Fleming vs Astral Projection - Mahadeva[JOOF16]
Released 2004 on Joof. Written and produced by Yaniv Haniv, Lior Perlmutter and Avi Nissim. Additional remix and production on track 1 by John 00 Fleming and on track 2 by John 00 Fleming and Tim Healey.
This old Israeli trance classic has been revamped courtesy of John 00 Fleming, who has successfully breathed some new life into it and given it a real fresh feel. Both mixes are excellent, with the Supakane Mix being the lighter of the two remixes, retaining many of the original elements from the 1996 original. However, over on the flip it's the John 00 Fleming that does the real damage, twisting 'Mahadeva' into a thundering, powerful tough trancer with a serious dark edge. This is one essential late night tune!
