'Tuned Universe' is currently a firm favourite melodic trance number of mine. Its the original version that hits the spot for me, with its combination of slightly eerie riff over fat analogue beats and weird spoken samples that build in what appears to be quite a dark track. However, a couple of minutes in and the most uplifting melody floats in (for some reason this melody reminds me of the 70's TV version of The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy) - this one flies! Over on the flip DJ Merlyn and Groovemike offer a couple of harder and deeper remixes, losing the melodic angle all together.
